1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, password hash and sign-in session information.
- Player information: your profile photo, biography, WPR rating, sex, selected area, preferred playing side, club memberships, playing preferences and an optional phone number.
- Activity you share: availability, actively-looking status, match listings, invitations, requests, responses, connections, blocks and messages.
- Support and technical information: information you send us, IP address, browser information, request logs and notification delivery records used to operate and secure the service.
Location matching uses your selected area and club locations to estimate distance. The current app does not request your device's precise GPS location or require your home address.
2. How we use information
We use this information to manage accounts, display player profiles and availability, filter compatible players and matches, process invitations and requests, provide conversations, send related service notifications, answer support requests and prevent misuse. Your WPR rating and preferences help us show relevant playing opportunities.
3. What other players can see
Other signed-in members can see your player profile, photo, selected area, playing preferences, relevant availability and actively-looking status. Members can browse listed matches and confirmed player rosters. Invitation and request details are shown to the relevant participants and organizers.
Your account email is not included in player discovery. Your phone number is hidden by default. If you enable “Show my phone number to signed-in members,” members can see it and use a call link on your profile and Community card. You can hide or remove it in your profile at any time. Sharing your number does not enroll you in SMS alerts. Direct messages are available between connected players; match chat is available to confirmed participants. Messages are stored by the service to provide these features. Avoid putting private contact details or sensitive information in your profile, match notes or chat.
The signed-out preview uses fictional player profiles and sample matches. It does not expose real player profiles.
4. Service providers and other disclosures
Cloudflare provides hosting, database, photo storage and related infrastructure. Resend processes the email addresses and message content needed to deliver password reset links, welcome emails, match notifications, friend-request alerts and grouped unread-chat alerts. Chat alert emails contain a count and a link to the conversation, not the contents of chat messages. These providers process information to support the service. Authorized personnel may access information to operate the app, investigate abuse and handle support or privacy requests.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect people, our service or legal rights. We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers for their marketing.
The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. Mobile numbers and SMS consent
Text alerts are optional and can be enabled from your profile when enrollment is available. Creating an account, displaying a phone number or accepting a match invitation does not enroll you in texts.
Enrollment requires a separate consent checkbox and a verification code sent to your number. We use Twilio to verify numbers and deliver requested texts. Twilio receives the recipient number and message content needed for that service. We retain your verification status, consent disclosure and timestamp, opt-out choices, and delivery receipts. Your SMS number is private and separate from your profile’s optional public phone number.
We only show your phone number to members when you separately enable profile phone sharing. SMS enrollment does not enable that setting. We will not share mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging consent will not be sold, rented or transferred to another sender.
Messages may cover invitations, join requests, confirmations, match changes and cancellations. Message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply. After enrolling, reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance, or contact support@fluxality.com. See the SMS terms.
6. Cookies, security and retention
We use cookies for sign-in sessions and service security. Blocking these cookies may prevent account features from working. The app does not currently use advertising cookies or track your browsing across unrelated websites, and it does not change its behavior in response to a browser's Do Not Track setting.
We use HTTPS, access controls and password hashing to protect information. No service can guarantee complete security. We retain account, match, conversation and operational records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, address requests, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Records are not automatically deleted when you sign out or when a match disappears from the current list.
7. Your choices and requests
You can update your profile, hide or remove your phone number, change availability, turn off your actively-looking status and block other players in the app. Email preferences in your profile let you turn match, friend and unread-chat emails on or off. Contact support@fluxality.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, close your account, or ask about notifications. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and will handle requests as required by applicable law. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal obligations or other users' legitimate records.
PadelMatcher is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and address it.
8. External services and policy updates
Club booking and other external links take you to services with their own privacy policies. This policy covers PadelMatcher. We will post updates on this page with a revised effective date and provide additional notice when required. Contact support@fluxality.com with questions.
